Rev. L. Ann Payton (BA, MDiv.) is an ordained Christian Methodist Episcopal clergy and Christian counselor with more than 15 years combined experience in providing pastoral support to individuals and families through working in the fields of congregational ministry and chaplaincy. In addition, she has more than 20 years experience with working with children and families in crises in the public sector and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
She is an honor graduate of both, Paine College, Augusta, GA and the Interdenominational Theological Center (Phillip School of Theology} , Atlanta, GA where she earned Bachelor of Arts and Masters of Divinity degrees, respectively. Further educational experience include certified pastoral education training (CPE) through the Caring and Counseling Center of Georgia and doctoral studies in pastoral community counseling, Argosy University, Sarasota, Fla.
Rev. Ann believes in the power and resiliency of the human spirit to overcome life challenges, no matter how difficult. She further believes by gaining greater spiritual insight into who we are (God-given identity) is critical to overcoming personal struggles and living healthier and more fulfilling lives
One of her most favorite pastimes is creative writing; she loves writing Christian blogs; this is one way she delights in inspiring Hope, passing it along
